Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at the age of six when she took a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's coaching until the year 2011. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of competition in 2011. In less than two years, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles distinguished herself by being constant, possessing an enthusiastic and energetic personality and incorporating the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions - vault uneven bar floor exercises.
