Dua
Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English artist and singer was born in London on 22 August 1995. After a stint as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached No. 3 in the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the First I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as sixth in the charts. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards as a British female solo artist as well as British debut act in 2018. The album was certified platinum throughout the world. Future Nostalgia's second studio album came out in 2020. It's time to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dua Lipa here. Dua Lipa was born at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). Dua Lipa has Bosnian descent through her maternal grandmother. Her ancestors are also tracked back to the Kosovo city of Peja. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and a younger brother named Gjin. The musical influence of Lipa's came from her father who is the guitarist and singer of Kosovan the rock group Oda. While at home with her parents, her father would play his original compositions along with songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa began singing when she was five years old. She attended the Sylvia Young Theater School was where she started singing at the age of nine. Lipa performed Beautiful Christina Aguilera's Beautiful as well as If Ain't Got You from Alicia Keys. In 2014, Lipa was signed to a contract to Warner Bros. Records. New Love, Lipa's debut single was released in august 2015.
