Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English artist and singer was born in London on 22 August 1995. After a stint as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached No. 3 in the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the First I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules. In the United States it peaked as sixth in the charts. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards as a British female solo artist as well as British debut act in 2018. The album was certified platinum throughout the world. New Love, Lipa's debut single was released in august 2015.
